Welcome to the International vintage VW meeting of Murten
100% Aircooled Classic VW Show
With up to 120 vehicles registered from all over Europe, the previous Vintage VW Meetings in Murten were a huge success.
The International Vintage VW Meeting in Murten is a travel through time thanks to the wealth of vehicles presented and its unique atmosphere.
Organized by historic enthusiasts for historic enthusiasts, this event will feature original, un-modified, or period-correct Volkswagens:
Volkswagen Beetle, KdF-Wagen, Type 82, Type 166, etc. up to 1957
Special bodies on VW chassis up to 1967
Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Type 14 and Type 34 up to 1967
Volkswagen Type 2 (Bus / Transporter etc.) up to 1967
This is not a concourse event, and all vintage Volkswagens are welcome from concourse to daily driver condition.
If your Air-cooled Volkswagen does not meet the criteria of the vintage display, don’t worry!
Please still bring it as there will be a dedicated parking area for Volkswagens right next to the show with a nominal parking fee payable on the day.

Set in an exceptional location by the shores of Lake Morat/Murten, this event brings together some of the finest vintage Volkswagen models from across Europe. Between shimmering waters, soft light, and classic bodywork, the atmosphere feels almost suspended in time.

Invitation to the 4th International Vintage VW Meeting of Murten
Access for Participants & Air-Cooled VWs
Prerequisites:
Vehicle access to the meeting site is exclusively reserved for vehicles of the Participants and Air-Cooled VWs which do not meet the criteria of the vintage display. Persons with reduced mobility, cyclists and motorcyclists are also allowed to park one the Air-Cooled parking.
For visitors, we strongly advise you to use the peripheral car park which are available to visitors for free and served by vintage shuttle buses that will take you directly to the center of the meeting.
Traffic signs:
« VW Air-Cooled » traffic signs will be in place to guide you to the meeting site located at Ryf 102 in Murten (see below the access map).

Access to the event for Visitors
Admission to the Meeting for spectators is free and visitors are invited to enjoy a great day of riding in vintage Volkswagens, walking through the picturesque medieval town and taking time to visit some of the many historic buildings.
We strongly advise you to use the peripheral car park which are available to visitors for free and served by vintage shuttle buses that will take you directly to the center of the meeting for a small fee.
The shuttle buses are organized by our partner « Car Alpin »
« Visitor Parking » traffic signs will be in place to guide you to the peripheral car park located at Wilerweg 41 in Murten (see below the access map).
The « VW Air-Cooled » directions are strictly reserved for vehicles participating in the meeting.
Persons with reduced mobility, cyclists and motorcyclists are allowed to park on the VW Air-cooled parking.
